Brianna Panasenco, one of our Scandinavian majors, was just awarded an Undergraduate Merit Scholarship from the Institute of International Studies here on campus for her senior thesis “Magic-making and place-taking: Celtic women in the Old Norse sagas”. She is off to Oslo this summer as a FLAS fellow to perfect her Norwegian. Congratulations, Brianna!
