Nordic Studies: Norwegian Seafarers and the Allied Cause in World War II

A lecture by Carl Blom and Dagfinn Kvale on the Norwegian seafarers who risked their lives for the Allied cause in World War II and the importance of the Norwegian shipping industry over the centuries. This talk will bring Berkeley students together with the Norwegian community in the San Francisco Bay Area to learn about this important but little known chapter in the history of the Second World War.
